We Love Estes Park

It's where we live, work and play!

Our Team member Dewey Shanks documented his hike to Cub Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park.  He used the app RELIVE to make this video and show the hike on a 3D map.  We loved this short video capture of the day and thought you would too!

Cub Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park

This hike can be done in most months.  It's a beautiful spot in the park and popular with winter hikers and cross country skiers.  The aerial video of the hike shows where the trail follows along the edge of Moraine Park. One of the photos in the video shows the charred terrain by the Fern Lake Fire that occurred back in Fall of 2012.

Go Outside and Play

This beautiful hike to Cub Lake is just over 5 miles out-and-back with an elevation gain of 570 ft ending up at 8620ft in elevation.  Plan for 2 to 3 hours on the trail and enjoy the experience out in Estes Park's backyard.

Thanks for sharing Dewey-

And, if you are looking to make a move to Estes Park we would love to hear from you!
