Summer is still going strong.
August combines some of Estes Park's strongest arts programming with food, wine, music, races, and outdoor recreation. The Wine Festival fills Bond Park early in the month, artists open their studios and paint across the Estes Valley, and recurring summer entertainment continues around town.
For visitors, August works especially well when a festival or arts event becomes the centerpiece and Rocky Mountain National Park, Lake Estes, scenic drives, wildlife watching, and downtown time fill the rest of the itinerary.
